Historique :	Le 28 juin 1704 une visite pastorale de Mgr l'évêque de Chalons précise : "... on démolira l'autel de saint Nicolas inutile pour placer la chaire à prêcher..." il s'agit peut-être de la chaire à prêcher visible aujourd'hui dans l'église, ce que la date semble confirmer. Quoiqu'il en soit cette chaire provient de l'ancienne église, elle fût remontée en 1885 dans le nouvel édifice. Cette chaire présente des similitudes avec la chaire de l'église Saint-Etienne de Bar-le-Duc.
