Historique :	Découverte faite en 1990 par le CAOA de 58 carreaux récupérés probablement après la Révolution dans une abbaye voisine (peut être l'abbaye des Vaux) et replacés dans l'église de Rosières. Il ne s'agit donc pas d'un pavement à proprement parler. Il serait d'ailleurs très intéressant de faire une nouvelle présentation pour les mettre en valeur. Ces carreaux faisaient partie d'ensembles plus important, vu le nombre de figures géométriques existantes. Certains de ces dessins sont connus et se retrouvent dans d'autres collections comme des cercles entrecroisés ou des entrelacs (Bourgogne ou Champagne), mais des carreaux montrant des rosaces avec spirales et croix svastikas semblent tout a fait inédites. Tous ces carreaux présentent un intérêt supérieur en ce qui concerne le décor des sols.
