Historique :	Saint Hippolyte était un soldat romain qui était chargé de la surveillance de saint Laurent. Edifié par la conduite de ce dernier il se convertit au christianisme. Cette statue s'apparente un peu par le style à une statue de saint Gengault à Longeaux, et de saint Michel à Saint-Germain.
