Historique :	Ce tableau provient de la collection Bousmard. François Ignace de Bousmard était lieutenant des maréchaux de France. Le maître allemand Johann-Ernst Heinsius est né à Weimar en 1740 et mort à Orléans en 1812. Ce tableau a peut être été exécuté dans le Nord de la France en 1774 lors du séjour du peintre à Lille et Douai. Plusieurs tableaux existent en France de ce peintre, peintre officiel des filles de Louis XV.
