Historique :	Il existe pour ces bancs d'honneur, destinés aux membres du conseil municipal, les devis détaillés signés et datés de Vallin. Un fois encore, on constate la qualité de ce mobilier tant au niveau du matériau qu'au niveau de la sculpture et de la finition. Ces meubles sont encore dans le style médiéval. Ils sont les derniers de la première période de l'artiste. Dès 1894, Eugène Vallin se tourne vers l'Art nouveau, les commandes religieuses déclinant.
