Description :	Dalle funéraire en marbre noir gravé, le pourtour est martelé afin de dessiner un cadre et la partie supérieure possède un motif de palmette.

Historique :	Lopigneux est un hameau à l'écart d'Arrancy. Au début du 18e siècle, des forges furent fondées par Claude-Louis Chonet, elles furent semble-t-il prospères jusqu'au milieu du 19e siècle. Il reste peu de traces de ces forges hormis quelques plaques de cheminée dans la région, les ruines de la chapelle, une cloche à l'église (en fonte de fer), classée MH et datant de 1742 et où sont mentionnés les noms de François Poupart et de Pierre Maucler.
