Description :	La châsse, vitrée sur trois cotés, est en bois peint en blanc crème avec un décor floral. La tête est disproportionnée pour cet embryon corporel : Jeanne de Valois était naine. Elle est ceinte de la couronne royale. Au cou, est suspendue, par un cordon bleu, la médaille de l'Annonciade, tandis que la main droite porte le sceptre.

Historique :	Sur l'arrêté : Le masque est en cire. Jeanne de Valois, fille de Louis XI, fondatrice de l'ordre de l'Annonciade, est morte en 1505. Il s'agit de son masque mortuaire déplacé, du couvent des Annonciades de Ligny à l'église paroissiale, après la Révolution (d'après une plaque de marbre posée sous la châsse).
