Précision_sur la representation :	Saint Nicolas porte ses habits épiscopaux. Il tend, de la main droite, un pain à une jeune fille et tient, de la main gauche, une bourse remplie d'argent. Au second plan, la foule tend les bras vers lui. Au fond est représentée une ville. Cette scène est empruntée à la légende dorée. Saint Nicolas dota les trois filles de son voisin à Patras afin qu'elles échappent à la prostitution. Dans le village de Sauvoy, on estimait qu'il s'agissait d'une Charité de Saint Aubin, évêque d'Angers et patron de la paroisse.
